A Bad Rap for Tupac, B.I.G. and Diddy

Some argue that he is the greatest, similar to Michael Jordan and Muhammad Ali proportions. Others say rapper Tupac Shakur was all hype with more acting talent than a rap persona.

Whatever the case was, Shakur's name has been resurrected more than 11 years after he was gunned down on a Las Vegas street. His name has resurfaced in national headlines not because a group of loyal followers are celebrating his remarkable music career, but because of a select few media folk.

Like it or not, Kobe's the best

I have never truly hated anyone, but if I did it would have been Kobe Bryant. He ruined a dynasty. He made watching the NBA boring. Most importantly, he made my life as a Minnesota Timberwolves fan miserable.

Kobe, a 6-foot-6, 220-pound basketball star is an NBA freak of nature whose game is a mirror image of Michael Jordan’s. At 27, he has already won three NBA championships. So far this season he has averaged more than 35 points a game.

Over the past couple of years his sheer talent had been slowly turning me into a fan of Kobe, and Jan. 22 made it official.
