The Native Communities rarely get posted in good light when they hit the news. This makes me sad. There are so many things that happen at these communties that would be wonderful news events. What makes me more upset is that last year people at Pine Ridge were burning anything to keep warm. This week 5 members of the Crow Creek Housing Commission were arrested for using funds to pay their own bills. I pray that this is not true. Later this week we may load up the car and head out west to Sturgis. If I go, I will stop at Crow Creek and pray for something positive to blog about.
