Graduation tomorrow?

I met the most wonderful lady yesterday.  I use the term lady in the finest sense of the word.  She is congenial, giving, and knowledgeable.  Her subject?   Trier, Germany.  Can't say that I ever remember studying it but somewhere I must have since it is a major city in Germany.  Dorothy Neuhaus makes you want to visit a place that you have never been before, when she talks about this city.

Her knowledge of the city comes from years of visiting it, to reconnect with her husbands family.  Her own roots are from Sweeden, but for Trier, she has a passion.

The photo showing, which she is currently doing, shows castles, Roman bath house ruins, and centuries old walls and gates around cities.  Visiting with her is one of the high points of my time in Vermillion.

Today is the last day at computers.  Today is the day that we proof the paper and "put it to bed".  Bed?  What's that?  Oh, I remember, it's sleep.  Hmmm.  Maybe at the end of the summer we can get some of that.  Until then those that go on internships will get sore little of it.  Those that don't will need the rest of the summer to catch up on work and chores that pilled up wil at AIJI.

The proofing room is calling.  Off to read yet more AP style.
