Judge sides with Iowa hog farm owners in South Dakota dispute

from the Post-Bulletin:

A federal judge on Wednesday refused to stop construction of an
Iowan-owned hog farm west of Wagner, saying it is not on tribal land as
three American Indians claimed in a lawsuit against the project.

Donald Day to head American Indian Resource Center in Bemidji

Bemidji State University President Dr. Jon E. Quistgaard has named Dr.
Donald Day as the director of the University’s American Indian Resource
Center. Day is currently president of Fond du Lac Tribal and Community
College in Cloquet.

Native American all-star game in effect
