Custom-made rez cars

The proposed Elk Point, S.D., oil refinery reminds me of another project that uses fuel. The Lower Sioux Community in Morton, Minn. purchased 51 percent of the equity in Dakotah Prinzing Motorcars. These are elaborate cars that are custom made and the plant is relocating to the Lower Sioux Reservation. The goal is economic development. The cars are earth friendly and do not emit carbon dioxide according to Max Prinzing, the founder of Dakotah Prinzing Motorcars. This factory was purchased last year and is still in its infancy at Lower Sioux.
